but maybe that’s just me.

thinking out loud. changing my mind sometimes. probably overthinking the rest.

i have a lot of thoughts.

about being a wife. being a mom. friendship. family. grief. work. love. the versions of ourselves we outgrow. the things people say that stick with us longer than they probably should. the things we don’t say. the things i’m probably thinking way too deeply about.

some of them are big.

some of them are incredibly unserious.

most of them are somewhere in between.

for a while, this space was called feelings & forward. it was built around making sense of what we feel and, eventually, figuring out how to move forward from it.

i still believe in that.

i just don’t think i always need to know what “forward” looks like anymore.

sometimes i want to write while i’m still in the middle of the thought. before i’ve figured out what it means. before i’ve found the lesson. before i can wrap it up in a pretty little conclusion and tell you what i learned.

sometimes there isn’t a lesson.

sometimes i change my mind.

sometimes i might come back six months later and wonder who let me publish that.

and sometimes i just need to yap.

so, that’s what this is now.

things i’m thinking about while i’m still figuring out what i think about them.

no tracks. no perfect publishing schedule. no pressure to turn every experience into something profound.

just a place to put the thoughts that keep taking up space in my head.

maybe you’ll read something here and see yourself in it. maybe you’ll completely disagree with me. maybe something i’ve been quietly thinking is something you’ve been quietly thinking too.

i think that’s reason enough to write it down.

i’m tiffany. wife. mom. pro feeler. chronic thinker. occasional mind-changer. and, apparently, a person who needed a public place for her internal monologue.

fair warning: j. cole lyrics will inevitably find a way into this somehow.

thoughts, still being thought.

welcome in!
